WedS. 4/22: Create a title page for your essay! Directions and sample are in google classroom and also on this site under "links and resources" tab.
Mon. 4/20: By now you should have a complete draft of your compare/contrast paper. Tonight locate one example each of the four sentence structures for a total of four underlined sentences. Final paper due Friday.
Mon. 4/13: 1. Get permission slip signed! 2. Complete text evidence portion of organizer. (If you absolutely cannot finish, at least have 2 of the 3 complete.)
Thurs 4/9: No HW Permission slip for the Anne Frank Play were sent home. Due back with $9 by 4/17!
Weds 4/8: Read over the articles in Google Classroom about Anne Frank's final days. Post a short 1 paragraph reflection about something that you learned or came to understand from reading the articles. Post it in the comments under the articles.
Weds. 3/24: Post responses to questions about Act II, Sc. 3. Questions are in Google Classroom. Respond to at least 3 questions. Also - if your class per. did not finish Sc. 3 in class, you should finish reading it before answering the questions! The play is under the links tab on this website.
TUESDAY 3/17: Pull up the Adjective list (on Google Classroom) for the sociogram project. Write down 3 adjectives for each character in the secret annex. Include 5 of the voc. words in bold.
Weds. 3/18: No HW unless you are way behind on your sociogram project. Sociograms are due tomorrow in class.
Thurs: 3/19 Test Corrections Due Friday.
Monday 3/9 HW: Compound Sentences (What is the difference between a compound subject, compound predicate and a compound sentence?) In class we wrote reflections on essays, reviewed grammar and looked at voc. slideshows.
Tuesday 3/10 HW: Get a Good night's sleep and eat a big breakfast for PARCC Testing! ;-)
